Note: If you are using a Dolphin remote to control GuideConnect, replace all instances of F2 key with Actions Button, all instances of Enter Key with Ok Button and all instances of Escape Key with Back Button.

Step 1: Create the email you wish to send exactly as you normally would. Then, whilst you are in the body of the email message, press the F2 key to open the actions menu.

Step 2: Use the down arrow key to find the, Add Attachments option, then press the Enter key on it. A new screen will be displayed that says, “no attachments, use the actions menu to add attachments to this email”.

Step 3: Press the F2 key to open the actions menu. Only one option will be displayed to you. This is, Add Attachment. Press the Enter key on this option and your file explorer will be opened so that you can find the file you wish to attach to the email.

Step 4: The file explorer shows you all of the folders and files on your computer and allows you to navigate around your computer to find files. Simply navigate through your folders to locate the file you wish to add to the email. When you have found the file you wish to add, press the Enter key on it. Once you have done this, you are shown a list of the attachments you have added to the email so far and GuideConnect says, “use the actions menu to add attachments to this email”.

To add another attachment, repeat steps 3 and 4.

Step 5: Once you have added all of the attachments you wish to, press the Escape key and you will be returned to the body of your email. You can now send the email by pressing the F2 key to open the actions menu and selecting the, Send option.
