Alternate Visions Coaching (AVC) was founded by James Goldsworthy in January 2014. James is an accredited assistive technology trainer and certified coach. He is registered blind and has lived with sight loss since 2004. He has over fifteen years of training and mentoring experience working in the voluntary sector and within the visually impaired community. In the years prior to losing his sight James was a retail manager, a role in which he managed and trained individuals as well as teams. He is an experienced trainer with a real life understanding of using technology as a visually impaired person.
